It's Christmastime!

We started off our Christmas fun by visiting Santa! It was early in the season, but the boys were THRILLED! Evan was super excited to see the REAL Santa and he made sure to tell us that! They were not rushed as they told Santa what they would like for Christmas and the photographer took pictures. It was such a great experience. Hopefully, we can do this photo session again next year and it was lots of fun and the pictures turned out so well!

We have decorated our tree as a family for many years, but this was the very first year that both boys were very interested in decorating the tree. They worked hard until each and every ornament was placed on the tree. It was such a fun experience and I am so glad that we had such a good time together.

Just like decorating the Christmas tree, both boys were super excited to decorate the gingerbread house this year. They both decorated their little hearts out! Of course, there was also quite a lot of eating icing and candy!

I have wanted to make a Christmas tree craft with our hand prints for quite some time, but we just never seemed to find the time. This year, we were able to create this gorgeous picture. I LOVE it and it is now one of my favorite Christmas decorations! I am grateful that Carl was able to help me create this, as he made it much better than I imagined! I am also happy that both boys were eager to participate!

We surprised the boys with a trip on the Polar Express and a visit with the Congleton family! It was so much fun and surprising the boys at the last minute was such a treat! We stayed at Big Splash Adventure and the boys had lots of fun playing in the water.

Preston did so many cute things at school, as they celebrated Christmas. He looked so cute as a reindeer!

Preston's preschool performed "The Friendly Beasts" for their Christmas program. It was adorable and the kids did a great job! Preston was a donkey and he was so cute! After the program there was a party and a visit from Santa! Preston was really excited that so many people were there to see his performance!

We went to Lights Under Louisville and Bonnie Mom and Grandpa joined us! We had a bit of a wait, which was not fun, but the lights in the cavern were great! We all had a good time.

We attended Christmas at the Galt House Hotel for the first time this year. We liked getting to see Santa again, as well as riding a train, seeing cool gingerbread houses, exploring Kaleidoscope and playing games. Preston even won a tablet playing a game. Thankfully, he is good at sharing and both boys now say, "We won a tablet." Such sweet boys!

The annual Keeling Family Christmas party did not disappoint. The food was good and the company was amazing. It is always such a fun time and we look forward to it each year!

We had brunch with Bonnie Mom, Grandpa, Aunt Rachel, Uncle Teddy, Caroline and Alex on Christmas Eve. It was nice and relaxing. The food was great and everyone enjoyed watching the kids play together.

We all planned on attending church on Christmas Eve, but the brunch was so much fun, it lasted longer than I planned. When getting everyone down to nap, I decided it would not be good to wake everyone after a short nap for service. Evan woke up after a brief nap and was SO excited for church. He even dressed himself with a belt, dress socks and dress shoes. I took him to church, while Preston slept and Daddy stayed with him. We enjoyed the service and got to spend some extra time with Grammy and Granddaddy.

Sir Christmas Pants always leaves with Santa on Christmas Eve. The boys are typically sad, but since our sweet elf left some special Star Wars ornaments as a goodbye gift, it made saying goodbye a bit easier.

Christmas morning was AMAZING! The boys were so happy with each gift they received and there was lots of sharing and NO complaining! It was so nice! We spent the morning playing and cooking and then headed to Grammy and Granddaddy's house for more Christmas fun.

I actually took these pictures on Christmas Eve, as I was not sure what kind of pictures the boys would be up for in the morning.

I LOVE these boys!

Santa liked his brownies and milk and the reindeer enjoyed their special food too!

Santa left lots of gifts!

Merry Christmas!

Christmas day at Grammy and Granddaddy's house was fun, except for Carl was too sick to stay. We missed him. but his nap helped him feel better.
