We started off the season by visiting Santa! The boys had a lot of fun and they enjoyed telling Santa what they wanted for Christmas.
We always have fun decorating the tree, but this year was extra fun. Both boys were really helpful and they were so excited to decorate the tree. They even had a dance party on the front porch, to celebrate the start of the Christmas season!
One sad thing did happen while we were decorating the tree. Preston came across Parker's ornament and it broke his heart all over again. He cried for quite awhile and kept saying how much he missed Parker. I think we were all pretty sad. Thankfully, we were all able to cheer up and the rest of the night was full of fun and laughter.
We made an awesome gingerbread house this year, It think it is my favorite one so far!
Sweet Boys
Silly Boys
We rode to the North Pole on the Polar Express! It was so much fun. We all had fun seeing Santa and the boys loved singing and dancing. We also had a great time at the water park at our hotel. It was such a fun weekend!
Bonnie Mom, Aunt Rachel, Uncle Teddy, Caroline and Alex joined us to make Christmas cookies. The scary reindeer cookie is courtesy of Daddy!
We did our traditional visit to Lights Under Louisville. I was worried it would be a bust, because Evan started off in a super bad mood. Thankfully, the lights and music put everyone in a better mood!
Aunt Rachel, Uncle Teddy, Caroline and Alex joined us for breakfast with Santa. The food was great this year and we had a really good time together.
We had some cute Christmas pictures taken. I really love the ones of the boys together. We even used one of these images for our Christmas card!
Preston's preschool performed The Friendly Beasts, which is one of the cutest Christmas programs I have ever seen. Preston got to be a wise man this year and he was SO adorable! He did a great job bringing his gift to baby Jesus. He was also did well performing the songs and his hand bell song!

On Christmas Eve, we all attended a children's Christmas service at Key West United Methodist Church. It was such a good service and Preston loved participating!
Christmas morning was lots of fun! The boys loved getting small gifts from Santa. We spent most of the day at the beach!
We got home from Key West and the boys were SO excited to open their big gifts from Santa. It was really late when we got home, but they boys had a great time staying up until midnight and opening their gifts.
Our last little Christmas celebration was with the Nickel family. It was a short visit, but the kids were SO happy to see each other.
