We were fortunate to get to spend another spring break in Key West. We had gorgeous weather and were able to do many of our favorite activities, as well as try some new things too. It was great to see Bonnie Mom and Grandpa.
We arrived in Key West very early in the morning. After getting settled in, Carl and I ate at a new restaurant called The Garden Cafe. The food was delicious and I loved the outdoor dining. We also had time for a walk to the beach. I took lots of pictures of the flowers, as they are always beautiful in Key West.
We spent many mornings and afternoons at the botanical garden. Preston spent his time catching lizards, while I enjoyed seeing all of the flowers and looking out at the ocean.
We spent lots of time in the pool. I just love these three so much!
We went to a new place called Rooster Treats and it is now a new favorite place for ice cream. They also have delicious, fresh made donuts, which are some of the best we have ever had!
We don't have lots of pictures with Evan, because he was almost always fishing with Hudson and his other Key West friends. Here are some pictures of them out on a charter, where they tried to get some tarpon. Unfortunately, a shark at one of the only ones they were able to bring close to the boat. They still had a great time. Plus, they also caught lots of fish off the pier. Evan especially liked catching fresh fish and then frying it for lunch. He definitely lives his best life in Key West.
Preston loves snorkeling, so we did that a few different times. Preston liked the reef and Higgs Beach.
We ventured up to Geiger Key, where we spent the morning kayaking. It was a great time to kayak, as the water was clear and we could see lots of cool things like conchs and sharks. Evan enjoyed fishing. We also had lunch at Geiger Key Marina.
We finally tried Latitudes! It was absolutely amazing. The atmosphere is where this restaurant really stands out. It was so nice to eat right on the beach with amazing views. The food and drinks were very good. We explored the island a bit, which was beautiful. I don't think we would like to stay in the cottages there, but it was really nice to visit!
We visited Fort Zach, which is one of my favorite places. I love the beach there. It was extra funny when a bunch of fish got scared and ending up jumping into me. I just wish we had it on video, because I was so startled and screamed like crazy!
Evan loved seeing the Key deer. He was a bit disappointed to not find any sheds.
A rare family picture when we went out to get pizza.

No matter how many times we visit Key West, I never get tired of all of the chickens. They are s cute!
We made another trip to The Key West Butterfly Garden. It was beautiful, as always,
Carl and I always go on a sunset sail. This time was extra special because Preston decided to join us!

I always say that Evan lives his best life in Key West, but I think Preston does too! He are some cute pictures of him from the trip.
Key West is absolutely gorgeous and so much fun! We can't wait to go back!
