The Congletons Visit!

We were fortunate that we were able to get to hang out with our friends John and Terri and their kids for two weekends in a row! That is quite a feat, since it is often months in between our visits.

During the last weekend in January, we enjoyed a kid free day and night with John and Terri and it was FABULOUS! Terri and I had lunch and got massages, while John and Carl went to Buffalo Trace Distillery for some bourbon tasting. We met up at The Galt House, where we hung out and watched the U of L game. After the game, we went to dinner at Against the Grain and then had a drink at one of the bars at The Galt House. If that was not enough, we also enjoyed brunch at Wild Eggs. It was a very nice weekend and we enjoyed the time we got to spend with our sweet friends.

Since the Congletons were unable to make Evan's birthday party, they visited again the following weekend and they brought the whole family! They got to spend the night, which was lots of fun for all of the little boys. We also got to go to the park, Henry's Ark, get in the hot tub, and have a small birthday celebration. Although they were here less than 24 hours, we sure managed to have a lot of fun!
