Preston's 5th Birthday - Thunder Over Louisville Celebration

Preston is now 5 years old! We had lots of fun celebrating his birthday, especially since his birthday fell on Thunder Over Louisville this year! That was quite fitting, as he did his best to be born during Thunder Over Louisville in 2012!

On Thursday, we celebrated with Grammy and Granddaddy. They took Preston to Target and he got to choose his birthday presents, which is quickly becoming a favorite tradition. He got several different things, but his "Freddy" toys were his favorite. We also had dinner at Los Aztecas.

Friday was a big party day for Preston. First, we celebrated his birthday with his friends at preschool. Later, we celebrated his birthday with a big family party, that included Aunt Rachel, Uncle Teddy, Caroline, Alex, Bonnie Mom, Grandpa and Uncle Ron.

We got Preston this bike for his birthday. He was NOT a fan at first, even though he did smile for a picture. Thankfully, Evan taught him how to ride it a couple of days later. It is now one of his favorite toys and he rides it almost every day!

Preston really likes the Legend of Zelda, so we got him a special cake!

Happy 5th birthday, Preston! He was SO excited to open his presents on his "real" birthday!

Preston liked his Link costume. He was so adorable!

We went to Thunder Over Louisville for our final celebration. We stayed at the Seelbach Hotel, which was lots of fun. The boys enjoyed getting to see Daddy's new office, as well as have an awesome place to view the fireworks! They also had fun riding the rides and having dinner with the Amshoff family!

Preston is such a sweet little boy. He really enjoys helping and he is still my cuddle bug. He enjoys school, but is not a fan of "hard work." He likes to be outside and he loves going to playgrounds. He really likes to listen to books and he is a huge fan of Pete the Cat right now. He is not a fan of naps or going to bed, but he is a good sleeper and he now stays in his room all night long. If I can ever get him to nap, he wants to cuddle with me, which I love. Preston is really caring and very inquisitive. He does not like "stinky" food and does not like when we eat it. He does like eating at Red Robin, where he enjoys grilled cheese and fries. He also likes playing video games. We love Preston very much and we are looking forward to another wonderful year full of fun!
