Derby 2017

Carl and I usually attend Oaks, which is the day before Derby. This year the weather was predicted to be cold and rainy, so we decided to stay at home. We are so glad we did! As expected, the weather was AWFUL. Plus, we got to have a family day, which included video games and a fun lunch at Red Robin!

The weather was better for Derby, so that was nice. The rain stopped and it warmed up a bit, so we were able to spend some of our party outside. This was great, since our party included LOTS of little boys with LOTS of energy! We had many friends and family join us for a fun day of racing and we had a ball! The only bad thing about the day, was that I spent WAY too much time talking with our friends and family and playing with the kids, that I barely took any pictures! 

Preston got some belated birthday gifts from the Congleton family. He was really excited!
