Our Little Diver

Grandpa and Bonnie Mom took the three of us to the pool at Hunting Creek a couple of weeks ago. Evan looked over at the diving board and asked if he could jump off of it. Once we were told that he could jump off of the board with his floaties on, we decided to let him try. Carl waited for Evan in the water and I helped him walk to the end of the board without slipping. Once Evan reached the end of the board, he eagerly jumped into the pool! We were so proud of him! He must have jumped off of the diving board at lest 15 times that night. He just LOVES the water. (Evan is currently working on learning to swim. He can swim a bit under water and sometimes he can bring his head up to breathe. After that he needs help. I think it is pretty good for not having formal swimming lessons!)
